As dancers, we know how important movement is for our mental health, as it helps us to define and grow into our sense of self as well as being a powerful tool for self expression.


Unearth & Flourish is a 3 part workshop series based on the highly esteemed Take It Back intensives. This series is designed to help you (re)connect with movement and explore your own personal vocabulary and individual voice in guided experiential learning sessions. We’ll investigate movement quality, your personal movement signature, connecting with music and full body embodiment with time for reflection and discussion.

You’ll come away with a renewed tie to your body and mind as you reanimate your connection to movement and music.


The Unearth & Fluorish series is an open level movement experience that is suitable for anyone interested in (re)connecting to their bodies through movement.

While no dance experience is required, many participants will have a belly dance background, and that technique may come up in discussion and/or be used as example.

This is NOT a belly dance workshop.
