Dark Side Nuit Blanche Crew
I’m inviting you to be a part of the Dark Side Nuit Blanche Crew!
We’ll be rehearsing on Thursdays through September, for some traveling performances through Toronto on Saturday, October 1 in the evening (exact times and locations TBD).
What this entails:
a commitment from you to attend all of the 4 weeks of in-person rehearsal and in-person classes through Thursdays in September, specifically September 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 6-10 pm at a studio near Bloor and Bathurst.
a commitment from you to practice any choreography so you know your parts as well as any notes/feedback I provide. The choreography won’t be crazy complicated, but there will be some technical sections that will require you to work outside of class/rehearsal.
a commitment from you to attend the performance night on October 1
And from me, you can expect:
choreography and improvisational ‘games’ that will create a 15-20 minute set. We’ll all be learning the whole set, then rotate who performs what in different sets.
organization of the class/rehearsal/event which includes creating promo material and FB event.
teaching and guiding you as we move through building a solid, exciting and professional set. This includes feedback and notes as well as things you should work on in your own practice.
arranging our route, costumes, sound and transportation on the evening of.
